What is it used for? (Uses)

This antibiotic combination is used to treat bacterial infections, especially those resistant to simple amoxicillin.
It is commonly prescribed for:

  • Respiratory tract infections (sinusitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia)
  • Ear infections (otitis media)
  • Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
  • Skin & soft tissue infections
  • Dental infections
  • Bone & joint infections

👉 Note: It does not work for viral infections like cold or flu.
